First, determine whether you are using a Wi-Fi connected door lock or a Bluetooth/Zigbee connected one.
If you are using a Bluetooth or Zigbee door lock, please check the online status of the lock. If the lock is currently online, you can directly open the door remotely through the app.
If you are using a non-always-on Wi-Fi door lock (meaning you cannot directly remotely open the door through the app and the lock needs to be locally operated first), you need to initiate a remote door opening request at the lock. The common way to initiate the request is by pressing the doorbell button on the front panel of the lock. For some older models of locks, you can try pressing 3#, 8#, 0#, etc.
