I want to reconnect this device. How do I remove/delete the original device?

If you want to reconnect or pair a device, you need to first remove the original device in the App. Here are two methods:

Method 1: Remove via App Home "Device Management"

Suitable for batch management of multiple devices.
  1. Open the App and go to Home.
  2. Tap the Menu/Filter button in the top right corner.
  3. Select Device Management.
  4. In the device list, check the devices you want to remove.
  5. Tap the Remove Device button at the bottom to complete the removal.
Path: Home → Top right menu → Device Management → Check devices → Remove Device

Method 2: Remove via Device Control Page

Suitable for quick operation of a single device.
  1. Enter the Device Control Page of the device.
  2. Tap the More/Edit button in the top right corner.
  3. Enter the Device Edit page.
  4. Tap Remove Device to complete the removal.
Path: Device Control Page → Top right button → Device Edit → Remove Device

What to note after removal?

  • Related scenes will become invalid: After removing the device, "Automation" and "Tap-to-Run" scenes related to the device will no longer take effect.
    • Need to re-pair: After removing the device, you need to first reset the device to the pending pairing state, then pair it again.
    • Universal remote needs re-learning: If the removed device is a sub-remote learned under a universal remote, you need to re-learn them one by one in the universal remote.

    Special Device Notes

    Smart cameras, video doorbells, smart door locks and other devices must be removed from the original account before they can be bound to another account. Please make sure to complete the removal in the original account, otherwise the new account may not be able to bind.
