What is FCC ID?

Last Updated on2024-12-10 07:51:15
FCC ID is the equipment identifier after the product is certified in the form of FCC Certification. The forms of FCC certification include FCC SDoC and Certification. Generally, ordinary EMC is certified according to SDOC (report + self-declaration), while special categories and radio products need to apply for a formal certificate from a TCB recognized by the FCC. The applicant can customize an FCC ID as the product identification number when applying for the certificate. Usually, the FCC ID consists of "Grantee code + Product code". The Grantee code is a five-digit number generated when the company registers on the FCC website, and the Product code is defined by the applicant, generally consisting of up to 14 digits and letters.
