What is SDPPI certification?

Indonesia Market Wireless Product Certification. SDPPI certification is a type of radio communication equipment certification issued by the Ministry of Communication of Indonesia. SDPPI stands for Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika, which is the Directorate General of Resources and Postal and Informatics Devices of Indonesia. SDPPI certification is a mandatory requirement by the Indonesian government for radio communication equipment imported and sold in Indonesia to ensure that these devices comply with national technical standards and regulations. Devices that pass SDPPI certification are allowed to be used within Indonesia. Applicants can test at an SDPPI recognized testing laboratory, which can be a domestic SDPPI recognized testing laboratory or an overseas SDPPI recognized testing laboratory.
