This app provides you with a powerful and efficient subscription management tool.
Generally, virtual goods (energy saving, recipes, cloud storage, etc.) will support subscription option. In fact, physical goods are also available for subscription services, such as consumable goods

Constraints and requirements

- Due to the restrictions of the third-party payments, the current refund process for subscription products requires merchants to manually manage.

Add a plan to a product

By default, Products are purchased as one-time purchases. If you expect to offer customers a pattern of subscription purchases, target your customers
Steps:
1. Go to the 'Apps' via the navigation menu.
2. Select the 'Subscription & Recharge' app that you have just installed and click the 'Manage-> Product Plan' button
3. Click the '+ Add Product' button, select the product for which you need to create a subscription plan, and confirm

4. By toggling the 'Purchase Options' switch, you enable the option to sell the product through a subscription.
By default, it is sold as a one-time purchase if the subscription option is not activated.
5. If you enable the subscription purchase option, you need to set the subscription plan's name, cycle, discount, and trial information.
In the "Variants & Plans" section, configure a subscription plan for each variant of the product.
Once subscription options are supported, each variant must have at least one associated subscription plan, and you can have multiple plans.
By default, subscription prices will follow the price of the product variant and the discounts specified in the subscription plan.

6. In the 'Check out' module, you can choose the 'Express Checkout' or 'General Checkout' for the product.
In the "Checkout form", you can require the customer to provide additional information, such as App account , email, phone number, and App Home name
7. Click the 'Save' button to finish, and the subscription plan option has been added to the product;
Note:
- In the 'General Checkout' process, the email or phone number can be in 'Settings' - > 'Checkout & Orders'
- Regardless of whether the subscription purchase option is enabled for a product, once saved, the item cannot be added to the cart with other items.

Create a subscription product in payment channel

Steps:
1. Go to the 'Apps' via the navigation menu.
2. Select the 'Subscription & Recharge' app that you have just installed and click the 'Manage-> Product Plan' button
3. In the 'Product Plans' list, select the product for which a subscription plan has been added
4. Select the subscription channel by clicking the 'Sync with channels' button, and once confirmed, App Mall will create a subscription information in the third-party subscription channel.
Note:
- Once the customer purchases a subscription item, the customer receives a recurring bill.
The customer's payment information is stored in the payment channel. Therefore, when creating a subscription product, you need to make sure that your payment information is configured correctly. Go here to learn more

Add a subscription component in products page

Steps:
1. Go to the product page from the navigation menu 'Online Store' > 'Product Page'
2. In the middle preview area, use the 'Change' button to switch to the product with a subscription plan
3. In the component list, select the component 'Subscription & Recharge', drag it into the middle preview area, and you can see the subscription information of the product
4. Click the 'Publish' button to complete.
Note:
- If the app expires, uninstalled or the subscription purchase option is closed, the subscription information will not be displayed on the product page.

Set up subscription policy

Before you offer customers the ability to pay for subscriptions, you may also need to pay attention to the subscription terms.
After installed the app, we'll add a subscription clause to your store that gives a hint when the user places an order.
Steps:
1. Go to the product page from the navigation menu 'Apps' > 'Subscription & Recharge'
2. Go to the settings page by clicking 'Manage' >'Pages'.
Select the terms and conditions on the settings page.
Note: You can modify the page in the 'Online Store' - > 'Pages' menu of the store.

Edit a product and subscription plan

When you edit a product through the 'Products' , you may have modified the price or specification information.
After editing the product, go to the product plan page, select the corresponding product, enter the edit page, and resubmit the subscription plan information

Delete a product plan

Steps:
1. Go to the product page from the navigation menu 'Apps' > 'Subscription & Recharge'
2. Select the ’Subscriptions & Recharge‘ App that you have just installed and click the 'Manage' button
3. In the 'Product Plan' list, click the product title or click the 'Edit' button to enter the product plan details page;
4. At the bottom of product plan, click the 'Delete' button to delete this product plan
