Newbie Checklist

Within the Tuya's Apps (Tuya Smart, Smart Life, etc.), brands may encounter the following scenarios:
• Get real feedback from your product
• Sell to your activated users
• Get more accurate users during the product promotion period.
In this section:

- Adding collection items to the brand page
- Participating in Tuya's marketing campaigns

Registrating a Brand, Maintaing a Brand Page

Within the Tuya's Apps (Tuya Smart, Smart Life, etc.), merchants need to register their brand and maintain a brand page.
Using the brand page, app users can follow the brand, get the brand's contact information, and get help.
Steps:
1. Apply to register the brand
To perform some branding actions within the Tuya's Apps, it is necessary to register the brand information in the Tuya IoT platform.
2. Maintain brand page
Brand page is the final page content that app users see, which can display the brand's contact information and product information for different regions.
After the brand page application is approved, you can get the QR code of the brand page, which can be used on the product package, so that users can scan the QR code to contact the brand.
There will also be related brand page entrances in other places of the App, such as network distribution success, equipment details, smart page and other entrances.

Adding collection items to the brand page

Through the brand page, you can add the collection from the App mall.
Activated users under the brand can view and purchase more products.
Note:
1. To sell goods through brand page, Tuay platform needs to charge a certain amount of commission, need to pre-charge a certain amount of money
2. Please contact the corresponding BD or PM to get the relevant qualifications and complete the pre-charge
Steps:
1. In Tuya Promotions Manager, in the top navigation bar, select a supported country or region.
2. Click on Brand Page in the navigation menu, and then click on the +Setup Recommended Products button.
3. On the configuration page, select the target brand and brand page in turn.
4. Click the +Select Collection button to select a collection in App Mall store.
Note:
- Currently only support End-to-End App Mall
- If you already have the End-to-End App Mall, you don't need to open it again.
- Newly opened mall, and only for brand page, can be used for free. If you want to use the mall on the OEM App, you need to pay separately.
5. Once you have finished configuring your products,go to Brand Page to make sure that the Recommendations component is turned on.

Participating in Tuya's marketing campaigns

Tuya will plan specific campaigns in Tuya App based on specific countries, specific time and specific groups of people, so as to help brands in Tuya system to get better sales.
Within the Tuya App, we can reach specific groups of people by utilizing many methods, such as App push, homepage banner, and emails.
All the channels in the App can be reached, considering the App user's usage scenario and experience, Tuya will review and manage each campaign.
To apply for participating in the marketing campaigns, you need to meet the following two conditions:
- Brands need to contact the corresponding BD or PM to apply for the campaign qualification.
- Pre-charge a certain amount of money
Steps:
1. In Tuya Promotions Manager, in the top navigation bar, select the supported countries or regions.
2. Click on Campaigns in the navigation menu, and then click on the +Apply for campaign button to go to the application page.
3. On the application form page, you can view the campaign that have been launched under the current country or region, and select the event you wish to participate in.
4. Enter the title and budget.
The budget cannot be less than 0 or greater than your account balance.
5. A campaign supports two purchase modes, The 3rd-party platform and In-app purchase.
The 3rd-party platform, i.e. the app user will go to a third party platform outside the app to complete the transaction.
In-app purchase, i.e. app users will complete the transaction within the app.
6. You will need to complete all submissions prior to the campaign start time.
On the application form page, under Status, select Be ready and click the Save button to complete the submission.
