Redemption codes can serve as a flexible marketing solution, enabling businesses to enhance their sales efforts or allow customers to directly redeem corresponding virtual services.

For instance, if a smart device includes a particular virtual service, you can include a redemption code card in the device packaging. When users activate the device, they can also be guided to activate the associated virtual service.

Based on the current sales model for Tuya smart hardware, the generation of redemption codes for products is primarily supported by Tuya and is not available for merchants to generate independently.

If merchants require the capability to generate redemption codes for their products, they should contact us for custom development.

If you are selling Tuya products via re-selling , you should follow these steps to generate redemption codes for your products:

Bind the specified product with Tuya service. Please refer to this process for specific details.
Provide the product's ID and SKU code to Tuya's contact person.
Tuya will generate the redemption code data based on the provided ID and SKU code and return it to you in Excel format."

Configuring the Redemption Entry

Through the Redemption App, you can add a redemption code feature in your store, allowing users to redeem specific products.

Please note that before adding the entry, you need to ensure that the redemption codes for your products have been generated and are still within their validity period. You can configure the redemption entry on product pages, the homepage, menu, and other entries.

Configuring the Redemption Entry on Product Pages

Navigate to 'Online Store' -> 'Product Page' through the navigation menu and find the product template corresponding to the item.
In the component list on the left, locate the 'Apps block' and find the redemption code component.
Drag the redemption code component to your desired location and complete the publication.

Configuring the Redemption Entry on the Homepage, Menu, etc.

If you have installed the Redemption App and bound it to the navigation menu, go to 'Apps' -> 'Redemption' -> 'Settings'
In the 'Redemption Center Page,' you can obtain the link to the redemption center page. For in-app links, please refer to this document.
Find a suitable entry point on the homepage, menu, or elsewhere and configure this link.

Viewing redeem history

When your users have completed a redemption using a redemption code, you can view the redemption records within this application.

If you have already installed the Redemption App and linked it to the navigation menu, go to 'Apps' -> 'Redemption' -> 'Redemem history.
