Add and Management device during the project

Device management consists five functions: "Construction Management", "Construction record", "Devise assignment", "Devise Usage" and "Device OTA" .
One、Construction management (create construction personnel, add gateway device, add gateway sub-devices a,device partitions)
1. Create a construction personnel
Description: Click "Construction Management"in device management then enter the page of configuration . On the right side, construction authorization management is able to allocate personnel, construction area and authorization time. The person who is authorized could login to the SAAS platform or use the intelligent light-controlled APP to exercise the construction authority of the related construction area.
Create: fill inrequired authorization management information:
- Information of construction personnel (Area, mobile number, name)
- End date of construction authorization
- Remark
- Authorized space (click the left construction space)
Click”Send Task” then complete the configuration.
After the construction personnel receive the construction task, personnel should use the APP "Intelligent Light Control" to add deviceand pairing network on the project site. Below is the description of how to add a device to use the "Intelligent Optical Control" APP.
Notice: It is not necessary to add devices through the construction process only. You can also add devices through the administrator account.
2. Add devices (download APP, take"Intelligent Light Control"as an example)
Description: If login successfully, select the project which need to construct. Select the related space on the home page, click "+" --> "Add Device" in the top right corner to enter the device add page. You can select both Manual Add and Auto discover to pairing network. For Bluetooth and ZigBee,you need to add a gateway first and then configure sub-devices through the gateway. Here we use SigMesh as an example to introduce the network pairing process.
(1) Add the gateway
Tap and hold the network configuration reset button on the gateway to switch the gateway network status to be configured (red indicator is blinking slowly and blue indicator is normally on).On the network configuration page of the APP, click "Wireless gateway (Bluetooth)" , enter the current password of Wi-Fi to add the gateway.
After device connect successfully, click “add” then add the device to the space. Then you can partition the device in [device details]to allocate the device to other space.
(2)Add Bluetooth sub-device
1.Select the related Bluetooth gateway
2.On the control page of the gateway, click "Searching new device" and select the related sub-device.
3.After deviceadd successfully, you can select the area to partition the device
4.After the network configuration of the device is completed, if you click "Done" which in the top right corner, then the device will be allocated to "non-partitioned".
(3) Device partition – non-partitioned
After the network paring is finished, the non-partitioned device will be collected in non-partitioned. You can reassign areas for devices which arenon-partitioned.
1.After entering [non-partitioned], select the device type to be partitioned and click "go to partition";
2. Select the device to be partitioned and click "Next"
3. Select the location to be allocated and click "Save" ,then device will move to the corresponding space
Remark: If there are a lot of devices, you may need to wait for a quite long time. You are advised to select no more than 20 devicestransfer at a time
(4) Single-device partition
find the device to be switched, and enter the device details. Click “device location” and switch regions for a single device
Two：Construction records
Under the device management, click “Construction Record” to enter the configuration page. You can check the construction permission allocation of each space. Also supported fuzzy search function. Click "Details" for construction authorization details, and click "Cancel authorization" to close the authorization.
Three：device distribution
Under the device management, click “Device allocation”andenter the configuration page. Select “space structure” to check the situation of configure device allocation in the current space. Click "Expand the device list" to select the devices that non- assigned to the plan under the current space structure, click to drag them to the related area.
Click the “device icon” on the drawing,can control the device quickly and view the device information.
The meaning of device icon: Blue means that the device is online. Black means that the device is closed; Yellow means the device is selected.
Click “the drag and drop function” in the top left corner, select the device on the drawing for movementtogether.
Click the “delete” function in the top left corner to delete the device on the drawing. After confirmation, device will be transferred to the non-partitioned state.All above operations will take effect once clicking "Save" in the top right corner.
Four、Deviceuse (advanced edition)
Notice: This function is only used for advanced SaaS users and above.
Under device management, click “Device use” to enter the configuration page,select the space structure can view 、and configure the device usage in the current space. Click on the device icon, go to the page of device assignmentpage, select the required information:

You have to choose above items in order,click "Save" and complete this spatial structure.
Click the “category switch” button on the top left corner ,you can switch the device display on the drawing according to category.
Click the “batch choice” button in the top left corner, select the drawing device, and allocate the use uniformly after selected
Five. OTA Upgrade of device (to be upgraded, upgrading, upgraded)
Under device management, click “Device OTA” to enter the operation page,select the space structure to check the information about device OTA current space upgrade.
1.To be upgraded
Show the list of devices which need to be upgraded in current space. You can filterdevice based on device category and device status. Support multiple device to be upgraded in batches.
Remark: Bluetooth devices need to be connected via mobile Bluetooth, for point-to-point upgrade. So the upgrade of Bluetooth devices on the SaaS is not supported yet.
Click “details” then you can to check the upgrade configuration information for the device
2.The upgrading
After device is upgraded, you can check both upgrade progress and status in the upgrade list. The upgrade states as below:

If the upgrade fails, you can click delete and upgrade this device again.

3. Upgrade completed
You can check records of the successfully upgraded devices in the [upgrade completed list].
