Collections

You can group your products into collections to make it easier for customers to find them by category. Here are a few examples of collections that you might create:

clothes for men, women, or children
items of a certain type, such as lamps, cushions, or rugs
items on sale
items in a certain size or color
seasonal products, such as holiday cards and decorations

Collection type

Currently you just can create manual collection.

A manual collection includes only the products that you choose individually. Because of this, the collection always contains the same products unless you specifically add or remove products.

Manual collections take more work to maintain, but can be a good choice for small or specialized collections that you intend to curate personally. For example, if you plan to hold a one-time flash sale of just a few products, then you can create a manual collection for them and set up a discount for just the products in that collection.

Create a manual collection

You can create a manual collection and add products to the collection. If the collection is available to your store, then you can change the order in which the products are displayed from the collection page.

Steps:

From your App Mall admin, go to 'Products'->'Collections'
Click '+ Add collection'
Enter a name and upload image.
Click '+ Add products', search and choose product, then add the products that you want to have in the colleciton.
Set the sort order for how you want the products to be sorted in your store.
Click 'Save'

Edit a collection

Steps:

From your App Mall admin, go to 'Products'->'Collections'
Click 'Edit' of the collection that you want to add products to.
You could edit the title,image, products in this collection.
Click 'Save'

Note:

When the collection information referenced on the store page/campagin page/menu, the name, image, and product information of the collection will be synchronized in real time

Add products to a existing collection from its detail page

You can add a product to one or more existing manual collections from the product's details page.

Steps:

From your App Mall admin, go to 'Products'
Click the product that you want to add to a collection
In the Collections section, select one or more existing collections
Click 'Save'

Remove products from a manual collection

Steps:

From your App Mall admin, go to Products -> Collection
Click 'Edit' of the collection that you want to add products to.
Click 'Delete' button to remove this product in Products area
Click 'Save'

Manage collection status

You can control the availability of all sales channels (mobile sites and apps) by modifying the collection status. There are several reasons why you might want to take down a collection:

You only want to offer a collection of seasonal or promotional products for part of the year.
Products in a collection are not eligible for a specific sales channel.

Steps:

Go to Products -> Collection
Click 'Edit' of the collection that you want to add products to.
In the 'Collection Status' area on the right, select the collection status, 'Published', 'Unpublished'
Click 'Save'

Note:

1. When the collection is unpublished, you will not see the collection when you reference the collection at the store page/campaign page/menu

2. If the collection referenced by store page/campaign page/menu is set to unpublished state, go to the corresponding store page/campaignpage/menu to delete the reference

Fetch collection link

Steps:

From your App Mall admin, go to Products -> Collection
Click 'Fetch link' to get the mobile webisite url if the collection is published

Note:

1. If you have a mobile website, you can get a collection of all items by following the rules:

mobile webiste domain + '/collection/all-products'

2. You can get a list for all collections by following the rules:

mobile webiste domain + '/collections'

Delete a collection

Steps:

From your App Mall admin, go to Products -> Collection
Click 'Delete' button in action colum
Click 'Save'
